Wife's birthday in review
Well, my folks just waited and came down Wednesday afternoon. They took us to Sesame's, and then went on back to Hot Springs for the rest of their vacation.
Thursday, my wife came home right after school, and I told her we could do anything she wanted. She had picked out the place to eat, which was Gaucho's, the same place we ate on our anniversary. But, nothing else. There weren't any movies she wanted to see, so after we ate, we went to Wal-Mart so she could spend her Wal Mart gift card for $100 that my parents gave her.
My wife is impossible to shop for to begin with, which is why she gets gift cards. I already told her she COULD NOT buy groceries, or pay bills with this money, though she did try to renew the Sam's Club membership, it was not expired yet.
So, she bought two calendars, and some hair cair products, totalling LESS than $50.
I mentioned yesterday that we get frustrated with eachother. Her with me for knowing what I want, and me with her for not knowing what she wants.
Today is another high school football game. The school where my wife teaches is winless so far this season, and some of her band kids are upset as well. I do enough 'youth counseling' at work, it's getting to be a real pain in the neck to have to do more of it on Fridays.
Do check out my new blogs, especially this one.
