I went to see the Incredibles today, mainly due to the fact that I'm a sucker for superhero films, but also because this movie carried the much-anticipated Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith trailer. Sadly, the Rave's projector screwed up, and cut out a part of the trailer, but such is life.
On to the movie... WOW! The animation was amazing, even for Pixar standards. The storyline was similar to an X-Men, or DC's Gordon Godfrey type where superheroes begin getting sued by people they rescue, and soon the government outlaws them.
I won't give away more of the plot than that, except to say a new enemy brings "Mr. Incredible's" whole family into the act in order to rescue him, and (BWAHAHAHA!) the world!
I was delighted with this movie, which is safe for the whole family, while having the usual 'innuendo' moments that adults get, but kids don't. It far exceded my expectations.
