A better week
Well, things worked themselves out at "AHS", where it turns out only one band member was actually upset with me, and it wasn't even the one I lost my temper with. No biggie there. AHS played their opponent tough on Friday, losing by a mere 19 points, when they were expected to lose by almost 40. They played a tough game. The refs were once again questionable, and sadly the guy who does our announcing at home games complained a little too loudly, and was asked to leave.
Saturday, we went to West End for our usual OU watch party. But, we brought my brother-in-law, who didn't have his ID with him, and for some odd reason, West End has started to admit only 18 and up after 6pm. Weird, since they are supposed to be a family place. Oh well, we came home and watched the game, which is just as well, because struggling with BAYLOR is not the kind of thing you want to share with the general public. At least we won, and if we can win half of our remaining games, we go to a bowl! Yeah!
Sunday we went to Conway and had a mini-reunion with my Dad, step-mom, Uncle, Aunt, a cousin, his girlfriend and his partner (he's a police officer). That was a fun time!
This weekend is the Rock Creek men's conference "Call of the wild." I'm looking forward to it. Christian comedian Dennis Swanberg is going to be there. There will be a catfish dinner, hunting expo, door prizes, etc.
